Set on the Paynesville canals on the Gippsland Lakes, Captains Cove Resort - Waterfront Apartments offers an indoor heated pool, a tennis court, basketball ring, private jetties and water activities. It is just 5 minutes’ walk from to the Raymond Island ferry and the Esplanade, where you will find waterfront restaurants, wine bar, cafes and walking tracks. While all of our apartments are 3 bedrooms our rates are based on how many people are staying making it more affordable for couples and smaller groups. Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen, BBQ, laundry, split system heating/cooling and a TV in the lounge area and master bedroom. All include a covered car parking space and access to a private boat jetty. Guests can stroll along the boardwalk and the peaceful gardens. Paynesville is known as the heart of the Gippsland Lakes. The canals offer a non-tida & protected boating haven. Gippsland Lakes activities include boating, sailing, fishing, visiting 90 mile beach, bike riding and water skiing. Guests can hire kayaks, bikes & tennis equipment. Paynesville's Captains Cove Resort - Waterfront Apartments is just a 1640 foot walk to the Esplanade & the Raymond Island Ferry. Raymond Island offers a natural paradise to explore where you will see koalas & kangaroos in their natural habitat & beautiful wildlife. Bairnsdale Golf and Bowls Club is 6 minutes’ drive away as is the Mitchell River Silt Jetties.
